Yavpe Kwáawcha (Yavapai Language) Classes Beginning July 10
The Yavapai-Apache Nation Yavapai Culture Program, in partnership with the Alcohol Substance Abuse Program, invites community members to participate in the upcoming Yavpe Kwáawcha (Yavapai Language) Classes beginning in July.
These classes will be taught by Albert Nelson of the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation and are open to all ages, tribal members, and community members interested in learning Yavapai language basics.
The revitalization of our language helps preserve our culture, identity, and sovereignty for future generations. Community members are encouraged to come learn, connect, and help strengthen the Yavapai language.
