Yavapai-Apache Nation Welcomes Fort Yuma Quechan Youth Group on Their Journey to Gallup
The Yavapai-Apache Nation was honored to welcome Xuumar Akuutsits, a youth group from the Fort Yuma Quechan Indian Tribe, this morning as they traveled to Gallup, New Mexico, to perform at the Gallup Inter-Tribal Indian Ceremonial.
The Nation hosted the group for breakfast during their stop in the Verde Valley. Before continuing their journey, the youth had an opportunity to meet with Tribal Council and share several songs.
We are grateful for the opportunity to welcome Xuumar Akuutsits and their families and supporters, share in culture and fellowship, and strengthen connections between our Tribal communities.
