YAN Wildland Fire Celebrates One of Our Own

Please join us in congratulating Rueben Diaz Jr., one of our Yavapai-Apache Nation Wildland Fire Fuels Crew members, on his promotion within the wildland fire industry.

Rueben has accepted a position with the Fort Apache Type 1 Interagency Hotshot Crew — an elite crew recognized for their dedication, skill, and leadership in wildfire response.

Rueben has been a valued member of the YAN Wildland Fire team for the past three years. During that time, he has demonstrated a strong work ethic, leadership, and commitment to the field.

While we will miss having him on our crew, we are proud to see one of our own continue to grow and represent our community in this important work.
