The Environmental Protection Department is excited to announce the 2022 Earth Day Event will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2022

The event will include a drive-thru event, virtual video showing, and #VerdeClean Challenge.

The Drive-Thru Event will be from 10 am to 12 pm at the Veterans Memorial Park beneath the Cliff Castle Casino. Bring your family by to collect fun items such as energy efficient light bulbs, reusable grocery bags, and other fun Earth Day goodies!
Participate now by taking on the #VerdeClean Challenge, by picking up litter in your community and posting a picture of yourself doing so using the hashtag #VerdeClean

The Virtual Video Showing will debut on April 23rd, where you will get to see what local groups in the Verde Valley have to say about this year’s theme and how they are participating. “Investing in Our Planet” can be as simple as picking up litter in your community!
