Scholarship Opportunity: Frank Harrison & Harry Austin Voting Rights Scholarship Essay Contes

The Yavapai-Apache Nation is sharing the following scholarship opportunity from the Inter Tribal Council of Arizona, Inc. (ITCA).

The Frank Harrison & Harry Austin Voting Rights Scholarship Essay Contest recognizes Native American college students in Arizona who demonstrate civic engagement by participating in non-Tribal elections and actively working to protect their right to vote. A $2,500 scholarship will be awarded to each selected recipient.

Applicant Eligibility

Applicants must:

• Be an enrolled member of a federally recognized Tribal Nation.
• Be living and attending a college or university in Arizona.
• Be 18 years of age or older.
