Renae Ballze
Renae Ballze was born and raised in Los Angeles, California and is related to the Hia-Ced O’odham tribe. Ms. Renae’s Child Development classes at Mt. San Antonia College opened the door to a ten (10) yearlong teaching career at a private school in California. Ms. Renae moved to Arizona in 2020 and taught 3 ½ year olds at a school in Anthem before moving to the Verde Valley. In August of 2021 she joined the team at The Montessori Children’s House on The Yavapai-Apache reservation. Ms. Renae comes from a family of teachers. Her mother has been teaching since 2003 and her sister is a Speech Pathologist. She admires them and honors them as her mentors. The smiles and the excitement for learning is what made Ms. Renae fall in love with teaching, she enjoys hearing their many questions and watch their minds grow with the answers. She has always known that she wanted to work with children, but finds working with and learning from the other teachers empowering as well. Ms. Renae is overjoyed by the children’s love for school, how the children make new friends and their smiles that light her heart!
