Maria Rosario Noguez
Maria Rosario Noguez (Ms. Rosie) was born in Guanajuato, Mexico in a little off grid farm village. She is the oldest of six (6) siblings , being the oldest she was heavily involved in the process of raising her siblings; helping her mother with daily chores and learning how to support each other to get the job done. Her favorite childhood memory was helping “Mama Sara” milk the cows and make fresh cheese to sell on the weekends. This is why she LOVES CHEESE!
At the age of 15, Ms. Rosie moved to the States, she graduated from Camp Verde High School and attended Yavapai College. During her studies and classroom observations, she discovered The Montessori Method of teaching and fell in love with it. The idea that a child needs to see, hear, feel and sometimes eat to learn something to a mastery level made perfect sense to her.
Ms. Rosie completed her AMS Montessori Teaching certification in the Early Childhood program in 2005. During her rigorous training, she worked as a Teaching Assistant or a Spanish teacher. She has been working with children for over 20 years.
Ms. Rosie’s favorite hobby is farming and she participates in many local Farmer Markets. She loves adventure and traveling alone to new places, she says, “It nourishes my inner happiness”. When Ms. Rosie grows up, she still wants to be a Montessori Teacher!
