Last night, the Yavapai-Apache Police department responded to a shots fired call in Camp Verde

Last night, the Yavapai-Apache Police department responded to a shots fired call in Camp Verde. Upon arrival, a male subject exited a vehicle, fled on foot and began shooting at the officers. One of the officers was struck.  He is in critical, but stable condition. Authorities are currently searching the area for the subject.

There is no further information available at this time as this is an ongoing investigation and active manhunt.
