Education
Education is an important goal for our community. Most years we have more than 150 tribal members enroll in some form of higher education with about 90% enrolled as full-time students.
The Yavapai-Apache Nation scholarship provides funding for eligible tribal members to attend the school of their choice, whether it be a community college, university, vocational or technical school. Typical costs covered are tuition fees, textbooks, room & board, and transportation.
General Info and Eligibility Requirements:
- You must be an enrolled member of the Yavapai-Apache Nation
- You must have a high school diploma or GED certificate before you apply
- You must be admitted and enrolled in a degree or certificate program at an accredited institution
- The award amounts are different for each student and are based on information received from the financial aid office at the school
MISSION STATEMENT
To serve the members of the Yavapai-Apache Nation by promoting and providing access to higher education through tribal scholarships.
