BIA Probate Document Collection Event – October 6–8

The U.S. Department of the Interior Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) will hold a Probate Document Collection Event October 6–8, 2026, at Twin Arrows Navajo Casino.

Attendees are encouraged to bring applicable documents, including:

• Certificate of Indian Blood
• Birth Certificate
• Marriage License
• Will
• Adoption papers
• Certificate of Death 

Participating offices include BIA Probate Services, BIA Leases, BIA Natural Resources, Federal Indian Minerals Office, Bureau of Trust Funds Administration, BIA Gift Deeds, and the Navajo Office of Vital Records & Identification.
