Today, Governor Katie Hobbs met with our Tribal Council for an important government-to-government discussion, where we spoke about housing, economic development, and tribal sovereignty.

She also toured several key sites across our lands:

•Our affordable housing projects, made possible through the Arizona Department of Housing’s tax credit programs.

•The land exchange parcels, which are central to the future development of our community.

•And a walk-through of Cliff Castle Casino, a vital economic engine for our Nation.

We appreciate Governor Hobbs’ time, her willingness to listen, and her commitment to building stronger partnerships with tribal communities across Arizona.
