Chairman Meets with Federal Leaders to Advance Water Rights Efforts

Yavapai-Apache Nation Chairman Buddy Rocha Jr. recently met with U.S. Senator Ruben Gallego and representatives from the U.S. Department of the Interior in Washington, D.C., to discuss important issues affecting the Nation, with a particular focus on Water Rights.

During the meeting with Senator Gallego, Chairman Rocha emphasized the importance of continued federal support for the Nation’s ongoing Water Rights efforts.

Chairman Rocha also met with the Department of the Interior to discuss next steps related to the Nation’s Water Rights initiatives, including securing funding for a feasibility study for the proposed pipeline project.
